Jianghai Avenue east extension project major flyover will be joined by the end of the year

n 16 August, the reporter visited Jianghai Avenue east extension project. The bottom structure of Jianghai Avenue flyover was completed. It has entered the peak stage of upper structure box girder construction. Up to now, half of the box girders have been completed. The main structure is expected to be completed in the end of November. By the end of the year, major flyover will be joined along the full length. By the end of June 2022 it will be completed and open to traffic.
As the major transport artery between downtown area of Nantong and Tongzhou district, Jianghai Avenue east extension project is not only the expressway connecting Tongzhou district and Nantong downtown area, but also the regional expressway with airport collection and distribution function. It will promote the integrated development of Tongzhou district and Nantong downtown area at a large extent.
